Resources

(This page is under constant development with new Resources being added as their write -up is completed)

People often ask us: “how can you afford to keep travelling all over the world?” This is an understandable & legitimate question. The truth is our traveling lifestyle costs us about the same as when we were living in San Diego, and indeed, for many months depending where we are, much less.

When we left San Diego in January 2017 we sold almost all we had accumulated and put the remainders in a storage facility that would ship any and all bar-coded boxes to us when requested. Those sales added to our nest egg which also contained proceeds from Shane’s sale of his business and an inheritance. Continuing income comes from Shane Social Security, investments and a few side hustles we’ll describe below. Click on each one for further details.

Experiences vs. Possessions

Adopting the philosophy of enjoying Experiences way beyond Possessions enabled us to stretch our resources & fulfill our travel goals.
